Editorial policy

1. Who writes and who is responsible

Every page carries Igor Roshkovan, DDS, MSc as author of record. Drafts are prepared from public registries and the literature, with tables assembled from the queries described in each article. Every draft is read, corrected and approved by the author before publication; nothing is published unread. The author's qualifications, practice and financial interest are set out on the author page.

2. Hierarchy of sources

Sources are ranked, and a claim is supported by the highest-ranked source available:

1. Public primary registries — FDA databases through openFDA (510(k), classification, GUDID, registration and listing), the Code of Federal Regulations, USPTO and Google Patents records, PubMed and PubMed Central.
2. Audited or regulated filings — annual reports and results announcements of listed companies.
3. Peer-reviewed literature — systematic reviews and consensus reports first, then randomised trials, then other study designs, each labelled by its design.
4. Everything else — market-research estimates, company websites, press releases, forums. These are reported as what they are, with the publisher named, and are never presented as fact on their own.

3. Numbers

Every figure on this site is cited to its source and carries the date it was retrieved or the date of the document it comes from. Where a figure was produced by a query — a count from a registry, a search result — the query is described so that it can be repeated. Where sources disagree, the disagreement is shown rather than averaged away. Where a number cannot be verified, it is not used.

4. What the site will not say

ALGINAGRAFT™ is a development-stage technology with no published data. The site therefore does not describe it as safe, effective, proven, clinically validated or superior to anything; does not use the words "revolutionary", "breakthrough" or "game-changing"; does not call it "investigational" (a term with a specific regulatory meaning that does not apply); and does not describe test results it does not have. Design objectives are labelled as objectives. Results from the literature about other materials are attributed to those materials. The regulatory status — not cleared, not approved, not for sale — appears on every page.

5. Language

The site is written for clinicians and uses their terms. Two words are avoided on purpose: "encapsulated", which in implant dentistry names a failure mode, and "binder", which the literature uses for a component the site calls a carrier. Definitions of the terms used are in the glossary, each with its source.

6. Evidence against the concept

Where the literature contains results that argue against the concept under development, they are reported with the same prominence as results that support it. The state of evidence page is the place where this is done, and it is updated when the literature changes.

7. Independence

The site carries no advertising, accepts no sponsored content and receives no payment from third parties. Product names of other companies appear only where a registry or a paper names them, and no product is recommended or disparaged.

8. Dating and updates

Each article shows its publication date and, when it has been substantively revised, the date of revision. The development status page carries a change log with dates. Registry-derived figures are re-checked when the page is revised, and the retrieval date is updated.

9. Corrections

Errors of fact are corrected on the page where they occur, with a dated note describing what was wrong and what changed. A correction that affects a conclusion is noted at the top of the page. Readers who find an error are asked to report it through the contact page; every report is answered.

10. Photographs

Intraoperative photographs are from the author's own conventional augmentation cases and are captioned to say what procedure they show. None depicts ALGINAGRAFT™, and the caption says so wherever a reader might otherwise assume it.
